Job Title: Superintendent - Underground Wet Utilities
Location: Riverside, CA
Overview:
We specialize in wet utilities, including sewer, water, storm drain systems, and fire lines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of underground wet utility projects.
- Ensure the proper handling of materials, equipment, and inspections to meet project schedules.
- Review and understand construction and contract documents.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve discrepancies and develop site logistics plans.
- Create and manage project schedules, including 3- and 6-week look-ahead schedules.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Foremen and crew members.
- Conduct safety meetings, training, and career development sessions.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe job site.
- Handle project risks, quality control, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of underground pipeline construction experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or related field preferred.
- Valid CA Driver's License with a good driving record.
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $160,700/year (based on experience)
