Job Description
- Lead the firm’s attorney recruiting efforts, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance the firm’s recruiting brand and market presence.
- Oversee the attorney onboarding and integration process to ensure a seamless transition.
- Implement and manage professional development programs to support attorney growth.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to assess hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
- Maintain relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations in all recruiting efforts.
- Manage and report on recruiting metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Supervise recruitment support staff and provide professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in attorney recruiting or professional development, preferably in a law firm.
- Bachelor’s degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
