Mindera is looking to recruit a Business Consultant to work directly with a CTO of a global AAA video publishing company.
The Business Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the CTO with the execution of strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the broader company strategies. This position requires a blend of technology understanding, strategic insight, and financial acumen to effectively run different analyses of the IT expenditure and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
The role will be hybrid and flexible in terms of work location, but some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CTO, assisting in the formulation and execution of plans to meet both technology and business goals.
- Help to streamline executive tasks.
- Support the communication between the CTO’s office and other departments by producing relevant and clear information to improve transparency and collaboration.
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CTO to facilitate efficient decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of executive meetings, including taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Work with the CTO’s PA to organize logistics for technology leadership meetings and cross-functional sessions, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
- Participate in strategic projects or initiatives as a representative of the CTO's office.
- Serve as a liaison for the technology department to internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle the flow of information to members of the tech team, ensuring compliance with company policies and confidentiality.
- Prepare financial and operational reports as needed by the CTO.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in Business consulting
- Financial background is a must to support and drive the decision-making process.
- Financial modelling capabilities
- Experience in C-Suite & enterprise communications
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent preparation & presentation skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to explain and present technical solutions
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- A strong team player
- Be based in the US, preferably west coast, with travel as required
