About the Role - The Leasing/Asset Management Coordinator Retail provides day-to-day support to members of the Retail team. These duties include customary administrative duties for the team as well as role-specific tasks. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule of three days of in-office work and up to two days of remote work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organized digital files for all leasing documents
- Help prepare and process lease agreements, ensuring they meet company policies
- Communicate with prospective tenants to gather necessary information for leasing
- Input deal terms in excel and applicable software
- Assist in drafting Letters of Intent (LOI)
- Update monthly lease and merchandising plans
- Maintain and update dashboards
- Conduct basic analysis of tenant rents, cost of occupancy, deal terms, etc.
- Research contact information for prospective tenants
- Share content with prospective tenants
- Prepare meetings with prospective tenants - lease plans and presentations
- Maintain lease covenant reports
- Track leasing commissions
- Coordinate property team calls, including creating agendas and distributing minutes
- Review existing leases and reciprocal easement agreements for exclusive and prohibited uses, preparing schedules and exhibits
- Organize logistics around conferences
- Coordinate individual travel needs and expense reports in Concur
- Assist with calendar maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in a leasing support or administrative role. Experience with a retail real estate owner or operator preferred, but not required. Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint and DocuSign. Experience with Yardi preferred, but not required. Comprehensive understanding of lease agreements and deal entry. Strong analytical skills.
