We’re looking for a
Sales Managerwith a sharp business mind, strong technical knowledge, and the drive to lead business growth initiatives in a highly competitive, technically advanced market. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing enterprise while maintaining hands-on involvement in client relationships, proposals, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
- Spearhead business development initiatives—identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
- Lead proposal development efforts from concept through submission and customer negotiation
- Assess markets, competitors, and customer needs to influence strategic and operational plans
- Serve as the bridge between customers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Create persuasive presentations, proposals, and marketing content to win business
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align business development strategies with company goals
- Contribute to long-range strategic planning and annual budgeting processes
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in technical sales, proposal development, and customer relationship management
- Strong understanding of government contracting and the DOD environment is highly preferred
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Deep knowledge of fluid flow components or related aerospace systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of product management, engineering, or business development experience, including 3+ years in a project leadership role
Bonus Points For:
- Experience negotiating third-party business agreements
- Familiarity with Congress, DOD acquisition processes, and market influencers in aerospace/defense
- Comfort balancing technical depth with high-level strategy
