Job Summary
The Financial Risk Analyst Intern will support the Risk Management team in evaluating and improving financial risk models and strategies. This internship provides hands-on experience in credit risk assessment, data analysis, and financial modeling within the auto finance industry.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or Python is a plus.
- Ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Internship Learning Project: Cashflow Model Development
Project Overview
The intern will work to develop a cashflow model for one of the company's key products. This model will help in assessing financial performance and understanding the impact of different variables on product profitability.
Project Scope
- Understand the Product:
- Gain a deep understanding of the product's financials, including revenue streams, expenses, and risk factors.
- Design Cashflow Model:
- Develop a comprehensive cashflow model that tracks inflows and outflows over time.
- Identify key financial variables and factors that influence cashflow.
- Incorporate Risk Factors:
- Integrate risk management considerations into the model, such as default rates, payment delinquency, and interest rate changes.
- Forecasting and Sensitivity Analysis:
- Use the model to forecast future cashflows under various scenarios.
- Perform sensitivity analysis to understand the model's reaction to changes in key inputs.
- Present Findings and Recommendations:
- Compile the cashflow model into a structured report.
- Deliver a final presentation to the Risk team, explaining the model, insights, and recommendations for decision-making.

Mentorship Structure

What's our Pay rate?
- $17.28 per hour
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
