Purpose of Position:
We are seeking an experienced
Service Manager. The Service Manager will provide leadership to multiple OPM technicians on a variety of projects for the installation, maintenance, and repair of modern plumbing and HVAC systems. They will ensure all work meets regulatory plumbing system requirements. The Service Manager will assist the service operations team with completing work orders, billing and scheduling in a timely manner with utmost efficiency, remaining within budget all while maintaining a high-quality standard.

Job Location: Irvine, CA. This is an in-office position.
Reporting Structure: This position will report directly to the Regional Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Explore new opportunities with a goal of growing customer base, revenue and profitability
- Receive and coordinate service requests
- Prepare quotes based on technician problem reports or site review
- Create new service contract proposals, contracts, and invoicing of contract
- Create work orders, purchase orders, and secure equipment when job has been approved, track materials until ready for pick up
- Create budgets and other targets for projects
- Establish a project guideline for each approved project that defines the goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones and deliverables
- Update filters list, order monthly filters, and receive filter invoices
- Evaluate manpower efficiency and make adjustments of required
- Assist technicians with promoting services where possible
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project
- Monitor labor hours, job progress and cost
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of service plumbing experience in commercial or high-rise residential buildings
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc
- Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of the permit process
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to track change orders with both owners and subcontractors
- Ability to ensure accurate documentation including customer records
- Meets sensitive deadlines on a consistent basis
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time
- Sound knowledge of local building code and safety regulations
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP, and BuildOps an asset
- Knowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam an asset
