Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction sites by directing traffic and managing the flow of vehicles around work zones. This position requires a keen awareness of surroundings and the ability to communicate effectively with both drivers and construction personnel. Experience in heavy equipment operation and construction site management is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage.
- Ensure the safety of workers and the public by monitoring traffic flow and responding to potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate site activities.
- Maintain a clear understanding of construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Participate in daily briefings regarding site conditions and operational plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or on a construction site is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
