We are a leading wireless infrastructure firm supporting one of the most high-profile global events—
Super Bowl LX—and we're seeking an experienced
Senior DAS Construction Engineer to join our team. This contract role plays a pivotal part in designing and managing over 30 high-priority in-building wireless projects across Northern California.
Senior DAS Construction Engineer Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in client-facing meetings, delivering real-time technical insights in coordination with lead engineers.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle for Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and in-building wireless projects.
- Supervise construction vendors to ensure compliance with RF design, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Review and validate iBwave designs, BOMs, and construction documents for technical and financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with venue management and internal/external teams to resolve complex deployment challenges.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain deployment schedules.
- Provide ongoing project updates, financial tracking, and milestone reporting to leadership.
Senior DAS Construction Engineer Qualifications
- Expertise with Ericsson and JMA DAS equipment—hands-on experience required.
- Proven ability to make real-time, accurate decisions in client-facing and high-pressure environments.
- Experience managing large, concurrent DAS or small cell projects with aggressive timelines.
- Deep knowledge of iBwave design tools, RF documentation, and vendor quote validation.
- Strong independent work ethic; able to drive progress and resolve issues with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with other OEM platforms such as CommScope, SOLiD, or Corning.
- Understanding of PIM, Sweep, and Fiber testing protocols.
- Experience with large venue deployments (e.g., stadiums, airports).
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Bay Area permitting and construction processes is strongly preferred.
