CATS4U, Inc. is an established heavy construction business providing high-quality heavy construction, excavation, and dirt moving work throughout Northern California.
Job Duties:
- Experienced at operating a wide variety of heavy equipment vehicles including excavators, bulldozers, skid steer, compactors, scrapers, articulated off-road dump trucks, front-end loaders, and graders.
- Must be proficient in sewer and water line installations, drainage, grading, and pad prep work.
- Must be willing and able to hand dig, lift heavy objects (up to 70#), and work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow directions, be self-motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and the ability to work alone and effectively with other people.
- The ability to give and understand hand and verbal signals.
- Extensive knowledge in using hand and power tools.
- The ability to perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
- Attention to detail, ability to create written reports, work orders, supply and job material requests, and good verbal and written communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Leading Candidates will have:
- Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- A current DMV 3-year driving record printout (issued within the past three (3) months) with no major violations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience running equipment.
- Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying proper safety procedures.
- Class A or B license – not required but helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $44.00 per hour
