Job Summary
The Data Engineer works with the IT group to help engage company business units and implement and design business process improvements.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually

Job Responsibilities
- Define dataset development plans, including requirement gathering, data mapping, analysis, and implementation.
- Define data requirements per stakeholder’s needs.
- Develop transactional databases for applications.
- Develop data models for use in data warehousing.
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory and other tools create ETL and ELT processes for data reporting/warehousing.
- Utilizing Power BI, develop data visualizations for applications and reporting.
- Manage custom Power BI reports through product lifecycle.
- Work as a data subject matter expert and evangelist while supporting business units through a technical evaluation process.
- Analyze business units’ functional requirements in order to design and recommend data visualization solutions.
- Produce and present executive briefings, project proposals, and project updates.
- Leverage 3rd party APIs to ingest data into the data warehouse.
- Train users on the use and development of Power BI and other data solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minimum two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Must be able to work independently with sustained concentration.
