About the Job:
The Facilities Management Department is seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven individual to take on a key role supporting asset management and the administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and optimization of systems that keep SAN operating efficiently every day.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills, enjoys working with data and technology, and has a knack for troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Success in this role starts with effective collaboration and communication with a wide range of stakeholders. A proactive mindset, technical aptitude, and the ability to learn and adapt to evolving systems will be essential in supporting asset management initiatives and driving operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- CMMS & Asset Management Support: Supports the administration and daily operation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Assists with asset management initiatives to ensure system continuity, capability, and optimization. Supports configuration updates, system changes, and integrations related to CMMS technologies.
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Maintains CMMS and related technologies to ensure reliability and ongoing performance. Monitors system functionality and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and usability. Ensures system proficiency across the organization by supporting consistent use and best practices.
- Data Management & Accuracy: Completes CMMS data entry and ongoing system updates. Monitors data integrity and ensures data validation and accuracy. Maintains reliable asset and maintenance records to support operational needs.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develops, maintains, and updates CMMS reports and dashboards. Supports data-driven decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
- Technical Support: Responds to and resolves CMMS-related technical issues. Completes required technical training to support system administration and enhancements. Provides support to ensure continuity of system knowledge and usage.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Coordinates with internal stakeholders to support CMMS and asset management operations. Assists in coordinating contractual services related to system support and maintenance. Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements
The Experience You Need to Have**:
- One year of progressively responsible experience in airport operations systems management or associated systems
- Associate degree or technical training, or a major in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field
- Equivalent combination of training and experience.
Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements :
- Successful completion of a fingerprint-based background investigation, training, and testing required for employment and operation of Authority and San Diego County physical security, surveillance, radio, and telecommunications equipment.
Preferred Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
- MCSE (Microsoft Certificate of System Engineering (server), CCNA (network), PMP, CompTIA, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Certified Support Professional
- One year experience using: Trimble Unity (formerly CityWorks), and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME)
