Experience Requirements- Total Experience: 5+ years in structural steel (Coordinator/APM); 3+ years specifically as a Project Manager.
- Sector Focus: Vertical construction (public works and commercial buildings).
- Project History: * Managed 10+ vertical structural steel projects.
- Minimum of 2 projects exceeding $5M as the primary PM.
- Ability to manage an annual project load of $10M+.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Plan, direct, and coordinate structural steel projects from kick-off to close-out.
- Communication: Act as the primary liaison between customers, design teams, detailers, and subcontractors.
- Workflow Management: Oversee detailing schedules, RFI processes, material purchasing, and shop fabrication coordination.
- Logistics: Coordinate delivery schedules, transportation, and field activities with subcontractors.
- Financials: Manage Change Order Requests (CORs), billing, and budget monitoring to meet or exceed gross profit goals.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to contract agreements, safety standards, and quality policies.
Qualifications- Education: Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading architectural/structural plans; familiar with AISC Code of Standard Practice.
- Software: Experience with Microsoft Project, Trimble, and ProCore.
- Soft Skills: Strong client-facing abilities, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000
