Construction Estimator / Preconstruction Coordinator
Location: Jupiter, FL
Luxury Builders Group is a growing South Florida construction company specializing in high-end residential renovations, custom homes, additions, and commercial construction projects.
We are looking for an organized and motivated Construction Estimator / Preconstruction Coordinator to work directly with ownership and play a key role in our continued growth.
This position is ideal for someone who understands construction, enjoys problem solving, and wants to grow into a Project Management or Operations leadership role.
ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Preconstruction
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Prepare budgets and detailed estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop scopes of work and bid packages
- Assist with proposal preparation and client presentations
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
Project Support
- Assist with project scheduling and coordination
- Track project costs and budgets
- Support permitting and inspection processes
- Prepare and track change orders
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
Business Development Support
- Research public and private bid opportunities
- Assist with bid submissions
- Build and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships
QualificationsRequired
- 2+ years of estimating, project coordination, assistant PM, or related construction experience
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Residential remodeling, additions, or custom home experience
- Commercial construction experience
- Knowledge of Florida permitting and construction practices
- Experience with Bluebeam, Buildertrend, Procore, PlanSwift, or similar software
Compensation
- $55,000 – $85,000 based on experience
- Performance-based bonuses
