Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager III – Technology (PMIS) to lead enterprise-level PMIS implementation and modernization initiatives across large-scale capital improvement programs. This individual will act as a strategic liaison between executive leadership, PMO teams, IT, finance, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and long-term optimization of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of capital program delivery expertise, technical acumen, and stakeholder leadership, with proven experience in PMIS platforms, financial integrations, and system transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Technology Leadership
- Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative for PMIS implementation and modernization initiatives
- Lead transition efforts from legacy systems (e.g., Proliance) to modern platforms (e.g., Trimble Unity Construct/eBuilder)
- Oversee system planning, configuration, integration, migration, and optimization
- Establish governance standards, workflows, and PMO technology roadmaps
- Coordinate across PMO, IT, Finance, Facilities, vendors, and user groups
PMIS Transition & Implementation
- Lead data migration and workflow transition into enterprise platforms
- Manage UAT, QA, deployment readiness, and issue tracking
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges
Accounting & Financial Integration
- Support integration between PMIS and financial systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint)
- Manage invoicing workflows, financial reporting, and auditing support
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
Training, Change Management & Support
- Develop and deliver training programs for various stakeholder groups
- Provide post go-live support, documentation, and user guidance
- Drive adoption through structured change management initiatives
Post Go-Live Optimization
- Lead system stabilization, enhancements, and performance improvements
- Monitor user adoption, workflows, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate ongoing releases and system upgrades
Business Process & Systems Integration
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvements
- Lead system integrations across PMIS, ERP, BIM, and reporting tools
- Develop dashboards and executive reporting tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience with capital programs, PMIS systems, or enterprise technology implementations
- Proven experience leading PMIS implementation or migration projects
- Strong knowledge of:
Construction project controls and workflows
Accounting, invoicing, budgeting, and financial systems
Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder)
Deltek Costpoint
Reporting and dashboard tools
UAT, training, post go-live support, and system enhancements
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting higher education districts, airports, ports, utilities, or large infrastructure programs
- Prior experience as an Owner’s Representative
- Expertise in migrating from Proliance to eBuilder
- Knowledge of ETL processes, reporting architecture, and dashboarding
- PMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications
- Familiarity with BIM, document management, and asset systems
