Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 Annually

Job Summary
The Senior Regional Controller leads all financial aspects of the business while serving as a strategic partner across the region’s operations. This role is designed for a finance leader seeking ownership, influence, and the opportunity to move beyond traditional financial management into a true business partner who wants to build, influence, and own outcomes rather than just report on them. The ideal candidate brings experience in construction or project-based accounting, with a strong understanding of job costing, and the ability to fulfill a finance function that scales with the region’s growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers and Project Executives to ensure financial discipline on every job in the
region.
- Lead the region’s monthly close process, reporting and executive-level financial communication.
- In collaboration with the Controller group, strengthen internal controls, systems and financial processes;
refine systems rather than simply maintaining them.
- Turn financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- Work with project teams to ensure the billing process is performed accurately and timely.
- Have clear visibility into profitability across every project in the region.
- Strong, predictable cash flow management for the region.
- Improve margins through better cost control and decision-making.
- Track and coordinate timely compilation of all audit-related documentation and related responses.
- Reconcile, process and report monthly/quarterly regional sales/business taxes.
- Monitor and maintain all regional business licenses and any reporting requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of the monthly WIP/reporting package for assigned region.
- Facilitate regional operations’ monthly forecasting and reporting.
- Monitor and maintain regional overhead budget/forecasting.
- Provide support to affiliate entities as needed with regional operations teams.
- Respond to Controller as assigned with accurate and timely supplemental reporting.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Has completed or is actively pursuing core safety training requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of business needs and the essential functions of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification a plus.
- 5 years of hands-on accounting/analytical experience.
- Construction accounting experience a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication proficiency.
- Strong financial management capability.
- High ethical conduct and credibility.
