Estimator III and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and value driven estimates that help set projects up for success. In this position, you will collaborate with clients, design teams, project managers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders to develop detailed estimates, cost models, and procurement strategies throughout the preconstruction process. You will analyze drawings and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, evaluate project risks and opportunities, and help guide budgeting decisions that support project goals. This is an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of complex projects while building strong relationships and helping shape successful project outcomes from concept through construction start.
This role is ideal for an experienced estimator who thrives in a collaborative Lean environment and enjoys solving complex construction challenges. You will lead estimating activities on assigned projects, support Target Value Design and design to budget initiatives, and help identify innovative solutions that maximize value for clients. Working alongside preconstruction and operations teams, you will manage bid solicitations, analyze subcontractor proposals, develop conceptual and detailed estimates, and support project transitions to the field. In addition to serving as a trusted resource throughout the estimating process, you will mentor less experienced estimators, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help strengthen estimating best practices across the organization. The anticipated salary range for this position is $116,000.00–$153,000.00 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
- Four-year architecture, engineering, construction management or related degree required.
- 5-8 years of estimating experience required, conceptual estimating, and site and building system.
- Experience in Guarantee Maximum Price (GMP) as well as Lump Sum (Hard) Bid type of projects required.
- A strong understanding of excel spreadsheets, database-based software (WinEst), take-off software (On-Screen take-off) scheduling software (Microsoft Schedule, Primavera) is required.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft O365 required.
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing business in healthcare or other highly regulated markets.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulatory environments such as HCAI.
- Familiarity with BIM tools, such as REVIT, and/or Vico, is preferred.
