Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Carlsbad, CA, supporting various positions across field operations, project management, and administrative functions at Bali Construction Inc. Team members may assist with civil construction activities, underground utility work, concrete and asphalt projects, and general site preparation and cleanup, depending on the specific position. Day-to-day responsibilities can include following safety procedures, coordinating with supervisors and project managers, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring work quality meets company and regulatory standards. Personnel may help review project plans, track progress, document work performed, and support communication with clients, inspectors, and internal teams. All positions contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability, aligned with the company’s mission and core values.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely perform tasks in a heavy civil construction environment, including adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
- Basic understanding of construction processes such as underground utilities, concrete work, asphalt removal and replacement, and general site work (prior experience in civil construction or related trades preferred).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills for working with supervisors, field crews, project managers, and clients.
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to read or learn to interpret basic plans, drawings, and instructions; comfort following written and verbal directions.
- Physical ability to perform on-site work, including standing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying conditions, as required by the specific role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training, certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training), or trade school experience is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Carlsbad, CA job site; eligibility to work in the United States.
