Job Overview:
The Foreman/ Supervisor is responsible for auditing, inspecting, training, and educating the Team and customers on all installed energy-saving measures for the California Public Utilities customer base participating in the Energy Saving Assistance Program (ESAP). Ensures all team members follow the structural guidelines established by the Energy Savings Assistance Program and California Installation Standard Manual. The Supervisor/Foreman is expected to supervise the assigned weatherization crews and ensure quality and production goals are met. In addition, the Field Supervisor should ensure all weatherization, Insulation, Plumbing, and HVAC crews follow Company Policies/Procedures and Safety guidelines when installing the energy-saving measures. The Foreman/Supervisor should provide outstanding customer service and good communication skills.
Job Duties
- Must have two years of experience working in energy conservation programs or similar trades like HVAC, electricity, or plumbing.
- Implement Safety in all departments.
- Maintain a satisfactory passing rate within the utility requirements.
- Successful complete certification training or any other required training
- Manages program requirements and compliance with company contracts.
- Assists in developing and implementing program goals, policies, procedures, and work standards.
- Assists with achieving or exceeding contractual outcomes.
- Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of the Weatherization Specialist, HVAC Technicians, Plumbing Technicians, Insulation Installers, Appliance delivery, and Electric Technicians.
- Review work in progress and complete work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Motivates staff to meet and exceed daily production goals and ensures adherence to the schedule.
- Maintain accurate customer records, files, forms, and paperwork.
- Stay updated on program requirements and standards.
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, staff, and utility company representatives.
- Participate in the routine meetings, workshops, and training as directed by the Operation Manager and Program Administrator.
- Responsible for the excellent image of the Company while on company time
- Conducts staff meetings and attends required contractual meetings.
- Responsible for the continuous staff training on program policies and procedures.
- Oversees the accurate processing of all documentation as required or needed.
- Audits, inspections, building compliance, building maintenance, and related documents.
- Ensures company policies, procedures, and protocols are followed.
- Selects, supervises, trains, motivates, and evaluates staff work and recommends appropriate disciplinary action as required.
- Reviews and approves timesheets.
- Assist in preparing and tracking the Department’s budget.
- Maintains and implements a clean working environment by complying with company Policies and procedures and OSHA protocols.
- Responsible for all vehicle safety and legal requirements for driving on California roadways. (Including vehicle maintenance schedule and cleanliness policies).
- Ensure that Safety meetings and training are conducted in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Provide hands-on training to Weatherization workers/installers at work sites.
- Other related program duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have an active California Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- EPA Certification is a Plus
- HVAC Certificate is a Plus
- Spanish speaker is a Plus
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Solid math skills
- 2 Years minimum experience with the Energy Savings Assistance Program or similar trade
- Pass drug test

Compensation: Our pay range is $55,000-$65,000
