We are looking to IMMEDIATELY hire an energetic, warm, kind, patient, responsible and proactive part-time floater teacher with a heart for children (18 months -12 year olds).
This role will involve your assistance in all classrooms and outdoors as needed. You will gain experience working with different age groups. As an authentic Montessori school, the classrooms are divided as toddlers (18 months - 3 years), primary (3 - 6 years) and elementary (6 - 12 years).
Floater teachers play an extremely important role by the help and support they provide the lead guide throughout the day, by helping maintain order in/outside the classroom and carrying out duties and tasks effectively and efficiently. We are an authentic and traditional AMI Montessori school. Our San Jose campus is centrally located near Santana Row which serves children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years (Toddler, Primary, and Elementary).
Pay and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, credentials, skills and experience.
A 3 month probationary period which is beneficial for both the employee and employer is mandatory for all hires, starting on the first day of employment.
