The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of certified payroll and prevailing wage projects.
Duties & Scope
- Coordinate certified payroll compliance.
- Manage all aspects of certified payroll and prevailing wage projects.
- Process all pertinent forms: DAS 140, DAS 142
- Fringe Benefit Statements
- Apprentice status letters/monthly fringe payment reporting.
- Apprentice certificates DIR/and Federal DOL apprentice certificates.
- Affidavits of completion
- Skilled & Trained workforce reporting
- Ability to create retro checks for late time, pay increases, apprentice level changes.
- Process certified payroll weekly.
- DIR entries weekly for California certified payroll projects.
- Ability to research a DIR #, download the correct wage determination, and set up the wage rates/fringes for new prevailing wage projects.
- Auditing Subcontractor CPR
- Conduct subcontractor audits of submitted documents for accuracy and compliance, address findings with subcontractor.
- Review all public & private contracts that have special requirements for labor requirements, certified payroll, skilled labor, local hire, diversity, and other such labor requirements.
- Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and sub tier activity during construction to ensure contractor compliance.
Qualifications
- A minimum High School diploma required.
- Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role within the construction industry preferred.
- Knowledge of any of the Software programs for certified payroll: LCP Tracker, Emars, Ecomply, Elation, DIR
- Must have experience with prevailing wage enforcement, analysis, and auditing skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and a strong working knowledge of state labor regulations.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, strategically, resourcefully, yet intuitively know when and how to inform, verify, collaborate, and escalate.

The starting hourly base pay for this role is between USD $31.00 and $36.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
