Clinician II is 1501-3000 hours completed toward licensure.

· Provide counseling services for individuals, groups, and couples using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapies.
· Gather and analyze information on clients through methods such as observation, interviews, discussions, and/or formal assessments.
· Identify problematic behavioral, communication, and relationship patterns; consult references such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Mental Disorders (DSM-5), journals, and supervisor(s).
· Create and document measurable treatment plans.
· Refer clients to specialists for further treatment as appropriate.
· Collaborate with the supervisor and client(s) and/or family members to develop plans to positively manage and respond to issues.
· Once treatment is completed or is no longer medically necessary; terminate care and change the client’s electronic record to inactive.
· Develop and maintain accurate records in the EHR regarding case progress, evaluations, and any further treatment recommendations.
· Request consultation from a supervisor when appropriate.
· Manage client schedules and document cancellations.
· Complete administrative duties and paperwork in a timely manner.
· Participate in weekly staff meetings and team building activities as well as occasional staff training
· Follow policies and laws regarding chart documentation and record requests.
· Maintain active license to provide healthcare in accordance with state guidelines.
· Comply with company policies and procedures including HIPAA, ethics, conduct, and safe working expectations.

Experience and Education
· Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related field
· Active registration in California including AMFT, ASW, APCC
· Actively engaged in collecting hours for licensure in California including LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC

Pay: $26.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
