What will you be doing?
As a member of the Business Systems team, you will be working (Hybrid role - 3 days per week in office) to deliver Trimble’s digital transformation mission to benefit our Stakeholders and end customers. You will be highly skilled in the Salesforce platform, motivated and collaborative who can convert complex business problems into scalable solutions. You will approach any solution with a quality-first mindset and solve them in a secure, reliable, and scalable way possible.
Here Is What Your Typical Day Might Look Like
- Understanding Business Needs: You will delve deep into stakeholder requirements to understand their pain points and desired outcomes. You will analyze existing Salesforce implementations and identify areas for improvement.
- Solution Design and Architecture: You will leverage your expertise in the Salesforce platform, and design robust and scalable solutions on Salesforce. This involves crafting data models, workflows, automation, integrations, and user interfaces that align with the stakeholder’s specific needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: You will act as trusted advisors, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with stakeholders, developers, operations, partners, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implementation and Management: You may oversee the development process, ensuring the solution is built according to their design. You also participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance to guarantee a smooth-running system.
- Documentation: You will create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.
- Integration Management: You will design and manage integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends, and proactively recommend enhancements to improve our offerings
What skills & experience you will bring?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce implementation and architecture, with a strong track record of successful projects.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect and System Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Lightning Experience. Strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations (APIs, web services).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and design effective technical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring development teams.
