Civil Drafter

Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Develop accurate and detailed engineering drawings, site layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and schematics for stormwater and drainage systems using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Collaboration: Work alongside civil engineers to interpret design specifications, project requirements, and site conditions, ensuring the accurate translation of concepts into detailed plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to local, state, and federal standards for stormwater management and drainage.
- Data Integration: Incorporate survey data and relevant site information into plans to support precise project execution.
- Quality Control: Review and verify all drawings to eliminate errors and discrepancies before submission.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain close collaboration with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to reflect the design intent accurately in all drawings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Associate degree or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, with an emphasis on stormwater management and drainage systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour
