Job Summary:
Seeking an IT Support Specialist with demonstrated experience in IT Support for a corporate environment. This position requires assistance with the management of an IT Department supporting approximately 200 end users. The position requires a solid understanding of networking, hardware and software setup and support. Good communication skills are required as part of our daily interactions with our employees, vendors, and subcontractors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work within the structure of parent company IT Policies and Procedures.
* Provide support in-line with local missions and directives.
* Upgrade and troubleshoot hardware.
* Install and upgrade software.
* Setup desktops, laptops, tablets, iPads, etc.
* Setup, upgrade, troubleshoot mobile devices.
* Ensure asset tracking is up to date.
* Accurately complete database entries as required.
* Actively monitoring/correcting computer and mobile devices with security alerts/threats.
* Support network operations.
* Support on premise servers.
* Upgrade Operating Systems.
* Troubleshoot printers/copiers/wifi issues.
* Frequently lift equipment up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
* Prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
* Multitasking with changing priorities.
* Occasional local travel only
Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science or MIS. (Preferred)
* 5+ years of IT Support in a corporate environment. (Required)
* Proficiency in M365 Products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint etc.) (Required)
* Proficiency in Microsoft OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint (Required)
* Meticulous attention to detail. (Required)
* Active Directory experience. (Required)
* Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication and team skills. (Required)
* A+, Network+ certifications (Required)
* MCP, MCSA Professional Certifications (Preferred)
* Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments. (Required)
* Familiarity with Cortex XDR/Carbon Black (Preferred)
* Familiarity with RDS/Citrix environments (Preferred)
* Familiarity with Global Protect (Preferred)
* Familiarity with Trimble Accubid (Preferred)
* Familiarity with SCCM Clients (Preferred)
