Summary/Objective
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and pleasant environment for the dealership employees and customers in accordance with company policies.

Essential Functions

Cleans areas throughout the dealership to maintain a safe, clean and pleasant environment for dealership employees and customers
Cleans work areas, empties trash, collects scrap and used materials to process in accordance with company policy and local, state and federal regulations
Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees
Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines
Notifies supervisor of required materials and supplies to perform duties
Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
Empties and cleans lunchroom refrigerator once a week.
Washes shop truck, inside and out.
Cleans fork lift and power equipment.
Empties and cleans all trash receptacles outside
Removes all debris from dealership
Maintains yard equipment and cleaning supplies
Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedure
Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
Removes and disposes of scrap materials as directed
Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs
Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policies
Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to working with hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediately
Communicates with Supervisor if additional work is needed
Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards
Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors
Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy
