POSITION SUMMARY
As part of this dynamic sales team, the Inside Sales Rep position is responsible to engage our walk-in customers to assess their needs, make outbound calls to identify opportunities to build professional relationships and execute a sales plan for the assigned customer base. This role will also consult customers on product solutions based on their needs that can increase their jobsite efficiency and profitability. While this starts as an inside sales position, the ability to grow into an outside sales position does exist.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Account Planning and strategy sessions with Sales Manager on regular outbound sales calls.
- Make outbound calls to potential new customers based on target lists and industry data.
- Prepare sale quotations and product recommendations.
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from other sources.
- Cross sell solutions to customers to provide leads for other divisions.
- Conduct proactive account management on assigned accounts.
- Qualifying leads and building relationships with customers.
- Maintain log of calls and quotes.
- Partner with the Marketing team on execution of promotions and campaigns.
- Updates and maintains CRM system with customer information, leads, activities and sales.
- Engage in continued training to keep current on a range of products.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Must be able to work with other sales people and help where directed with demo’s, training and lead exchanges.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A minimum of a High School diploma and at least three (3) years industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous inside or retail sales preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid California Class C or higher driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record report.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places.
The employee will be working in facilities and on job sites that may have loud machinery and/or equipment noises.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Annually.
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
