Job Summary
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management and supervision of construction projects. You will work closely with the Lead Superintendent to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supervising construction projects from start to finish
- Aid in coordinating subcontractors, labor, and materials
- Assist in creating and managing project schedules
- Support budgeting and cost control efforts
- Review and interpret RFIs including construction drawings, blueprints and schematics
- Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Help with project documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of construction management principles
- Proficiency in construction estimating and budgeting
- Experience with ProCore, BlueBeam or similar construction management software is required
- Ability to supervise and manage construction teams effectively
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Concord, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
