The Nurse Manager/ Infection prevention plays a critical role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within a healthcare facility. This position involves managing daily operations, fostering a collaborative environment, and implementing policies that enhance patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager is responsible for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while promoting best practices in nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Bed management/ Adminissions/discharges
- Oversee data collection and management related to patient records and outcomes.
- Conduct regular reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
- Monitor patient observation protocols to identify any changes in condition or needs.
- Implement infection control measures and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans for critical care patients.
- Provide training and support for nursing staff on anatomy knowledge and best practices in patient care.
- Review documentation for quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
