Position Summary:
The Pouring Assistant performs all various manual duties set out by the supervisor to aid daily
operations at our refinery. Responsibilities of the position include working with hand and power tools,
assisting with all aspects in the Asphalt Pouring Area or as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Emergency Response – handle fire extinguisher in case of emergency
- Routine forklift operation and care
- Landscaping – maintain office building and parking lots
- Housekeeping – general upkeep of facilities (including operate sweeper, steam cleaner)
- Assist production of asphalt cartons as per manifest
- Assist prep asphalt flooring for carton production
- Assist maintain inventory and documentation of empty cartons and pallets
- Shipping: loading and maintaining shipping documentation of asphalt cartons on truck flat-beds
and/or containers
- Receiving – unloading materials from incoming supply trucks/containers and maintaining
documentation
Other Functions:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
