The Nurse Manager/ Infection prevention plays a critical role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within a healthcare facility. This position involves managing daily operations, fostering a collaborative environment, and implementing policies that enhance patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager is responsible for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while promoting best practices in nursing care.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Bed management/ Adminissions/discharges
Oversee data collection and management related to patient records and outcomes.
Conduct regular reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
Monitor patient observation protocols to identify any changes in condition or needs.
Implement infection control measures and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans for critical care patients.
Provide training and support for nursing staff on anatomy knowledge and best practices in patient care.
Review documentation for quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Skills

Proficient in data collection and management techniques relevant to healthcare settings.
Strong understanding of medical records systems and documentation review processes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
