Job Description: Project Surveyor
We’re looking for a Project Surveyor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a real impact on projects from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze survey records and field data
- Prepare deliverables including ALTA surveys, boundary and topographic maps, legal descriptions, plats, staking packages, and subdivision maps
- Support field crews with calculations and technical guidance
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables and deadlines are met
- Help mentor junior staff and contribute to technical quality standards
Qualifications:
- PLS license in California (or ability to obtain within 12 months) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of land surveying principles, mapping, and legal descriptions
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and surveying software (e.g., Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
- Must be able to visit project sites across the region as needed

Salary Range:
$80,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience) + bonus opportunities
