Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager (PLS) to lead our surveying projects and ensure the successful execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting various types of surveys and will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and team resources while delivering high-quality results to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage surveying projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Final Parcel Maps, and Boundary Surveys
- Prepare and review subdivision maps and Construction Staking plans
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drafting and design purposes
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success
- Oversee field operations and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior survey staff
- Prepare project documentation and reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Experience with Trimble surveying equipment and software
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members
