Job Summary
The Customer Solutions Rep is responsible for the timely and effective communication to our job sites through a professional attitude at all times. This position is considered the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment/material needs and place orders.
SALARY RANGE: $28.00 - $34.00 hourly, $58,240.00 - $70,720.00 annually
(SoCal range)
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location.

Job Responsibilities
- Create a positive, customer focused experience for all job sites.
- Cover the Order Desk by reviewing incoming orders and accurately creating rental and sales contracts.
- Maintains strong communication with customers in the event of backorders, providing timely updates and setting clear expectations.
- Offer approved suggestions and substitutions when available and proactively contact customers to present effective solutions.
- Work closely with the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure backordered items are placed on order, provide accurate ETAs for job sites, and remain in communication until the entire order is fulfilled.
- Review potential add-on opportunities that may support field needs and enhance the overall order.
- Collaborate directly with warehouse team members to establish and manage daily and weekly delivery schedules.
- Drive and lead job kickoff calls for projects under $5 million, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and order requirements.
- Partner with project teams to coach and support them on job sites or via Teams on order placement, best practices, and proper PO submission and receiving procedures.
- Conduct job walks with the Warehouse Manager, gather feedback on operational challenges, and take ownership of implementing process improvements.
- Provide coverage and support for other regions as needed.
Qualifications
- Technical school certificate or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Great working knowledge of tools and equipment used in the construction industry.
- Working knowledge of building materials, and consumables.
- Demonstrate a self-starter attitude and strong self-motivation; take initiative to seek out answers independently when information is not readily available.
- Able to work with very minimal supervision.
- Tech savvy and the ability to coach others.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications – Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record based upon company policy.
- Strong communication skills electronically, by phone and in-person.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job site. The noise level is the work environment and job site can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
