The role is open to New York City, San Francisco or Sunnyvale.

The LinkedIn Monetization Strategy & Operations team is looking for a strategy and planning lead to accelerate growth across our Marketing Solutions (LinkedIn Advertising) business. This individual will work closely with leaders in our pricing, marketing, sales, and operations organizations to lead the reporting & analysis, planning processes and define monetization strategies. This lead will gather deep data insights to identify opportunities and drive decision making. This role is a high impact, high visibility role within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models for annual and long-range planning process
- Lead 1-2 monetization strategy initiatives and share strategic recommendations with executives
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to accelerate penetration, generate sustainable growth and enable strategic outcomes via monetization strategy
- Create analytical models to size potential future opportunities and evaluate impact of existing GTM initiatives
- Drive process improvements and scaled performance in planning and reporting
- Own forecasting models and updates to Monetization leadership and Sales leadership
- Build productive relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales and Product teams
- Leverage hypothesis-driven analyses to identify and evaluate opportunities
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics, accounting, engineering or related field
- 4+ years in finance, banking, pricing, sales operations, management consulting, or other analytical role
- 4+ years of experience with Excel and data analysis
- Experience with SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced technical degree
- Experience in advertising / platform
- Professional experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making, preferably in the enterprise software/SaaS space
- Proficiency with data analysis and/or visualizations—including directing work in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI
- Strategic and creative problem-solver who loves to tackle complex challenges in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills - storytelling and giving presentations – and executive presence to drive decisions with senior management
- Leadership skills - Ability to inspire and influence cross-functional partners and drive decision making among senior executives
- Experience working with and serving as a trusted advisor to sales leaders (B2B enterprise preferred) as trusted advisor to sales team

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $102,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
