LAND SURVEYOR/PARTY CHIEF
Job description
CRF Engineering is seeking for a dedicated and responsible Surveying team member to lead and provide excellent surveying field services. This position is a full-time position and could require overtime. It is a Monday through Friday assignment and experience is required (3-4 years of experience minimum), and an Associate's degree in Land Surveying. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities/qualifications:
· Complete understating of Trimble Surveying equipment (data collectors, GPS, and
total stations).
· Clear understating of boundary principles, and civil engineering design needs.
· Fast pace and vision to survey effectively.
· Concise and effective communication via phone, email, and in person.
· Setting monuments, accurate and reliable measurements, and clear understanding of what the survey is used for.
· Troubleshoot and or calibrate minor equipment needs during field operations.
· Follow strict company safety and ethics regulations.
· 3 to 4 years of field experience performing Record of Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Topographic surveys, construction surveying.
Ability to work alone
Work under the supervision of Engineers.
Adhere to high standards of procedures.
Wages for this position are assessed based on experience and education. This is an hourly position and would be working a 4/10 schedule.
