Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system design for commercial facilities.
- Develop pre-construction budgets from preliminary and schematic designs.
- Ensure compliance with code requirements and client specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, engineers, field crews, and clients.
- Establish and implement engineering standards and best practices.
- Drive innovation in design-build methods to enhance efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) in California.
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical engineering for commercial facilities.
- Proven leadership and team management track record.
- Strong background in design-build project delivery, especially tenant improvements and retrofits.
- Proficient in CAD and BIM software.
- Comfortable working on-site in San Francisco.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $205,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
