Certified Journeyman/Trainee Electrician (California Electrical Certification Required)

Seeking Trainee or JW to fill a full time position with our company. We work primarily in the Large building HVAC retrofit sector. You will be running various size conduits and pulling wire up to 750 mcm. Voltages from 120 to 480v, with 480v three phase work being most common.
Qualifications
- Must have valid State of California Electrician Journeyman/Journeywoman License or Trainee Card
- Must have valid CA Drivers License
- Minimum of 1 years experience
- Willing to commute throughout Southern California
- Must be able to adhere to all electrical safety procedures and work in a safe manner
- Must be willing/available to work flexible hours if needed, including weekends and nights

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential or commercial settings.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards and ensure safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions efficiently.
- Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in the electrical field.
Summary
As a Certified Electrician - Journeyman or Trainee, you will bring essential core skills such as proficiency with hand tools, voltmeters, and power tools to the role. Your expertise in NEC codes, and electrical experience will be key in performing electrical installations and repairs. Premium skills in programmable logic controllers and industrial electrician experience will further enhance your ability to handle complex electrical systems. Your relevant skills in construction sites, blueprint reading, and high voltage work will ensure success in tasks related to renovation and construction projects. A valid driver's license and electrical license are required for this position.
