Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled State Certified Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical systems, including both industrial and commercial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various electrical tools and equipment. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage installations as required.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Be proficient in conduit bending.
Experience
- State Certified as a General Electrician is required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment is required.
- Experience in construction site environments is preferred, with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively is necessary for successful job performance.
- Previous experience working with high voltage systems is a plus.

Pay: $52.15 - $62.58 per hour
