Position Summary
The Member Service Representative provides a wide range of transactional and administrative services to members. This role includes assisting members in person, by phone, and electronically, as well as supporting daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer member questions regarding accounts, products, and services
- Assist members with issue resolution in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Address membership-related issues and concerns
- Provide administrative support, including processing mail, emails, and filing documents
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to member inquiries
- Serve as a backup Member Service Representative at the Romeoville branch as needed
- Collaborate with team members and assist in other roles when required
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred (financial institution experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to assist at multiple branch locations
Position Details
- Part-time position (18–20 hours per week)
- Location: Lockport and Romeoville branches
- Credit Union hours: Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Scheduled Work Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
