Role Summary:
The Free People Digital Tech is a full-time position based at Los Angeles with the Free People Movement and Free-Est Teams. The Digital Tech should be organized, possesses strong time management skills, and should be extremely interested in computers/software workflows with a strong interest in photography. The Digital Tech works with the photographer and stylists during on-model shoots to ensure proper capture and labeling of incoming images. The techs are responsible for preparing all images shot in studio for post-production and work with the Digital Asset Manager to maintain the FP web studio’s image archive.
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing all images through Shot Flow
- Responsible for working with the Art Directors on making preliminary selects
- Responsible for color correcting images
- Responsible for software updates, researching new hardware/software workflow combinations, and monthly monitor calibrations of all image-capturing computers
- Maintain and organize photo equipment
- Serve as a photo assistant on set and on location

Role Qualifications:
1-3 years of digital studio tech or photography assistant experience in a commercial studio preferred
- Expert knowledge of Canon EOS, Capture One Pro, and Mac OS
- Strong IT and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Shot Flow preferred
- Strong knowledge in both natural and studio lighting
- A self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadlinedriven environment
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Travel: Some travel required.

The wage range for this role is $66,560 - $68,000 .Wages are based on several factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, geographic location, etc.”
