Our client, a leading supplier of solutions and services to aquaculture, is currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in Inverness.
As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable service and repair of both in-house and third-party products within a professional workshop environment.
Main Duties
Maintain and repair a variety of products, including IP cameras, Smarteye cameras, Antenna - Cage, Antenna BAP, Comm Cab, Winches (dual/single/with brake versions), and Wifi boxes
Provide telephone support and assist with the preparation of core products
Offer basic first line remote support as designated by Line Manager
Accurately record time spent, parts used, and details of work performed on all tasks
Skills and experience
Exposure to electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
Proven ability to maintain and repair a broad range of technical equipment
Basic IT and Networking experience
Methodical approach to fault finding
Excellent customer service skills
Recognised technical apprenticeship or HNC/HND in in electrical or electronic engineering would be desirable
