As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the VP of Strategic Market Development and Market Development Managers with business strategy and planning work, gathering and assembling analytical data, managing projects, and creating compelling meeting materials to drive strategy sessions. This position requires a proactive, self-starter who possesses exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, both oral and written. A high level of professionalism, organization, and flexibility are essential.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Business Strategy and Planning: Operationalize and drive the company’s long-term business strategy and planning work by overseeing and facilitating the development of the Market segments medium and long-term goals. Identify and enable growth opportunities, business model innovation, data mining and organization and facilitation of cross-functional initiatives. Monitor medium to long-term business trends/outlooks and gather competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership. Partner with leaders to ensure business success by reinforcing positive trends and facilitating the removal of barriers to success. Establish, manage, and present business and financial analysis to support and track our business strategy and planning. (35%)
Project Management: Provide central expertise, support, and control for the Market Segment team initiatives through excellent project management best practices. Coordinate meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow-up on open action items by delivering assigned projects, tasks, and deliverables to respective leaders. Develop tools and models for data analysis in support of Market segment objectives. Monitor dependencies across multiple inter-related projects and market segments. (35%)
Communication: Work closely with the Market segment leadership teams to create global steering committee and senior leadership team meeting materials. Build excel and PowerPoint templates to be used across market segments for consistency. Create and monitor reports and dashboards in SAP BI for analysis and monthly & quarterly updates. Manage the follow up communication for all action meeting action items as required. (30%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- Degree in Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, or Business Informatics or equivalent years of experience required
- MBA preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- 5 years project management experience on large enterprise level initiatives
- Ability to ask clarifying questions to prompt more detailed information
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for senior executives
- Ability to analyze and collect data from multiple areas of the business
- Ability to hold self and others accountable for measurable, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results
- Ability to utilize and pursue knowledge of how work gets done
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

PAY
$71,500 - $114,400 / year
