We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The Electrical Estimator is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects from start to finish. The position requires strong knowledge of electrical building systems, electrical installation, and estimating software. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in electrical estimating.
Position Overview: The Electrical Estimator will create cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects and manage projects from start to finish. They will work with clients to understand the scope of the project, provide advice and solutions, and ensure the project comes in on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates for electrical projects from start to finish using software such as Accubid Trimble.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions.
- Analyze and review the estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track project progress and maintain project records.
- Identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical estimating.
- Knowledge of electrical building systems and electrical installation.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid Trimble.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Journeyman certification is preferred.
