SITECH West is seeking a Field Service Technician to install GPS and Laser based positioning & data products on various makes and models of Construction equipment. In addition to equipment installations, you will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair these systems ensuring that our customers are productive. POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the installation, service, and repair of GPS and laser based positioning & data products on various makes and models of construction equipment.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Welding certification or ability to demonstrate welding proficiency.
Working knowledge of hydraulic system installation and repair.
Ability to read and understand wiring schematics used in installation and troubleshooting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair construction technology equipment, with emphasis on Laser, GPS, and Robotic controls.
- Prepare accurate estimates for customer repairs.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met.
- Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with Operator Training.
- Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area.
- Assist with ordering parts and organizing the parts warehouse.
- Data entry as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to apply to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
- Ability to problem solve involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid class C driver license and a clean D.M.V. report.

The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 Hourly
Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
