Our client is a reputable law firm specializing in providing top-tier litigation services, particularly within the workers’ compensation industry. They are dedicated to delivering superior results for their clients and are seeking a Billing Analyst to join their dynamic billing team.
Job Description:
- Process and prepare monthly invoices for client accounts
- Review and verify all billing transactions to ensure compliance with client terms
- Manage accounts receivable, including timely processing and reconciling
- Identify and collect past-due balances
- Resolve billing/payment discrepancies by liaising with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with attorneys and office supervisors to maintain adherence to client billing guidelines
- Submit and monitor invoices through manual and electronic billing systems, including eBilling platforms
- Provide excellent customer service for client inquiries related to billing issues
- Ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines
- Assist in training team members as needed
- Perform other billing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of billing/collections experience at a law firm
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with attorneys and clients
- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level
- Experience in data entry and working with computerized systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in billing/collections, with a focus on e-billing software such as Tymetrix, Legal X, Collaborati, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred) or equivalent work experience
