Overview:
Our client, a leader in the concrete masonry and hardscape materials space based out of Los Angeles, is looking for an Architectural Sales Representative to join their team. They serve the entire Southern California region and have supplied their products to build iconic sports and entertainment venues like Dodger Stadium, Rose Bowl, Angel Stadium, The Forum, and more. The Architectural Sales Representative will promote the company and its products to architects, specifiers, designers, engineers, and others within the AEC community, to become their trusted contact for all matters related to our products and the systems into which they are installed.
Description:
• Looking for an experienced Architectural Sales Representative in a fast-paced environment demanding strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Service design professionals with technical, detail, and specification information and assistance, to obtain project specifications of our product(s).
• Educate for product use and applicability to reasonably conform the design intent to the company’s product line.
• Promote company using published design and specification resources, and in-office seminars. Participation in responsibility for their form, content, distribution, and maintenance.
• Discern market trends and recognize code and technical activity related to company products. Keep management informed of any significant occurrence that may affect the company.
• Participation with associations related to our industry, including local chapters of the American Institute of Architects, and the Construction Specifications Institute. Activities include various meetings, dinners, and product shows, as well as other industry events as appropriate.
• Develop project information for sales leads.
• This is a full-time, on-site position, from Monday through Friday.

• Able to work under pressure with deadlines

Experience and/or Education:
• BS/BA (Architecture / Engineering preferred but not required) and five years related experience (and/or training), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Trimble SketchUp and Autodesk Revit applications
• Experience working with BIM processes, implementation, and use
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
