We are currently looking for an Estimator/Project Manager for an immediate position at our office in El Cajon, CA.
We are looking for an individual that meets the following requirements
- HCSS Estimating Program experience preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge in heavy equipment sizes, shoring techniques, productions/crew sizing for various conditions, ability to understand soils reports.
- Strong internal and external communication skills. Represent the company well when dealing with clients.
- Experience with large multi-million dollar projects preferred
- Knowledge of various local agency specifications
- Local knowledge for who to call when you need a vendor, supplier, or subcontractor. Existing relationships with private owners and agencies preferred
- Ability to create & update schedules in Microsoft Project or P6 preferred
- Work well with others
- Proficient computer skills in Blue Beam, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to create and manage change orders, RFI’s, letters, claims, meeting minutes and associated Project Management tasks
- Strong work ethic and self-starter
- Schedule is M-F in office/jobsite trailer
