Looking for an experienced full cycle accounts receivable and payable specialist with 5 years + of hands-on experience with Quick Books Desktop and EDI is a plus.
Must be a self-starter who requires minimal guidance after initial training is done, a true problem solver. You will have plenty of support from the controller who is very hands on.
Experience with wholesale consumer products and inventory is necessary.
Experience with purchasing inventory from foreign factories is extremely helpful.
Essential duties:
AR - Invoicing customers, cash application of payments received, entering customer credits, resolving issues, and reconciling AR balances. The company has 1 main customer which takes up a bulk of the work and also has drop ship customers.
AP - weekly check run (20 checks) international wires to suppliers, paying deposits to suppliers for purchase orders sent to the suppliers.
Reconcile our AP balance with the supplier balance as needed and communication with these suppliers is necessary.
Record credit card transactions monthly.
Other duties as needed.
