Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion as well as generate electrical proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and electrical systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
- Coordinate with construction teams on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize Bluebeam for project documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Implement cost control measures to maintain project budgets while maximizing efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles, including estimating and cost control.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam or similar software for project documentation and collaboration.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a construction environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $117,736.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
